The EatAfrican Dining Experience is an immersive supper club founded by Edwina and Akosua. Edwina is the founder and head chef of Waakyeleaf and an avid foodie. Akosua is the founder of Creative Details Event Consultants and has a keen eye for detail. Together, they are passionate about showcasing the best of African cuisine and hospitality through unique and immersive dining experiences.
Following last year’s successful Waakye Weekend, we will be taking over the Pill Box Kitchen in East London on Sunday, 31st July 2022, from 12 noon to 6:30 pm. We will only be serving Waakye with all its glorious trimmings – no Jollof in sight!

Join us for an exclusive dining experience inspired by our imagination of an African Christmas. Enjoy an intimate evening filled with festive cheer, drinks, music and a mouth-watering selection of ten beautifully crafted Afro-Fusion dishes curated with the festive season in mind.
Given that there will only be one sitting and also taking into account the duration of the whole experience we have very limited spaces and will operate on a first-come first-served basis.
